&lt;p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;Thomson Reuters officers informed us on 17 August 2016 that   &lt;span style="padding: 0cm; border: 1pt windowtext; border-image: none; color: black;"&gt;Journal of Hydrology and Hydromechanics  &lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;  &lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;(JHH) would be included in Current Contents Connect starting with V64(4) 2016. Subsequently, Dr. Pavla Pekárová, the director of the Institute of Hydrology SAS (IH SAS), awarded  &lt;span style="padding: 0cm; border: 1pt windowtext; border-image: none; color: black;"&gt;the Medals of Merit of the IH SAS to four members of JHH Editorial Board (Prof. Günter Blöschl, Vienna University of Technology, Vienna, Austria, Prof. Václav Matoušek, Czech Technical University in Prague, Prague, Czech Republic, Prof. Tammo S. &lt;p style="text-align: left;"&gt;The thematic issue attempts to attract scientific contributions featuring current state of methods of snow cover measurements, evaluation of the amount and variability of water stored in snow, its release during the snowmelt and the links between the snow cover and hydrological processes, e.g. soil and groundwater recharge, river runoff, etc.
